Gabrielle Le Bayon (b. 1981, Paris)

Gabrielle Le Bayon is a French artist and film maker currently living and working in Paris. She graduated with a BA in Film & Video at the London College of Communication in 2005 and completed an MA in Photography at the Royal College of Art in 2012. Her practice focuses on video work, both in single channel and installation form. This medium enables her to investigate the limits of cinema and fine arts, fiction and documentary, blurring the lines between these different practices. She uses her personal experience has a catalyst to explore the relationship between history, mythology, memory, and space.

She has exhibited work internationally, including: 54th Video Art Program, MOCA Museum of Contemporary Art, Japan (2016), Open Film 2016 (cur. Recently, she has been selected for La Box residency at the ENSA in Bourges.
