The Fire Collection is a two hour, thirty seven minute collection of twenty two video paintings shot by Isabelle Inghilleri, Sanchita Islam and Hilary Lawson.

The Fire Collection was shot between 2004 and 2006. Fire is intensity, but it is also death. It is the bringer of warmth at the cost of destruction. It is ephemeral, momentary, passing, but passionate and life affirming. The video paintings in this collection investigate this paradoxical state, exploring intensity while watching its consuming force, on occasion juxtaposing the fleeting character of fire with the timeless quality of the earth and sea.
