Dreams and Jeopardy was created for the HowTheLightGetsIn Hay 2022 Festival and is a five hour collection of forty eight video paintings shot by Sanchita Islam, Hilary Lawson, Alys Williams, Isabelle Inghilleri, Mark Nelson, Roz Mortimer, Gabrielle Le Bayon, Sidsel Christensen, David Brazier & Kelda Free.

This series explores the way that these themes are simultaneously present in the world as we emerge from the pandemic, navigating a so-called 'new normal' admidst a background of loss and insecurity. The work ranges from burning sunsets, nostalgic landscapes and dream-like perspectives of the strange.
